• Develop strategies to treat ADHD and reduce stress in children
• Decribe the impact of adversity and brain injury on focus

• Review our current knowledge about the adolescent brain, including its heightened vulnerability to the negative effects of stress, insufficient sleep, chemicals, 24-7 technology use and multitasking
• Develop tools using movement, meditation and the arts to increase the young brain's availability for learning
• Discuss the neural basis of attention to better understand how it really works in adolescent brains and therefore be able to more easily promote focus and enhance learning
