THE SAMUEL RIGGS IV ALUMNI CENTER is situated on the University of Maryland, College Park, campus-conveniently located off of I-495 and close to the College Park Metro Station. The center is at the hub of the university's northwest corner next to the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and Byrd Stadium.
FROM BALTIMORE AND POINTS NORTH:
Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway, exit 27, and immediately follow signs to exit 25B-College Park/U.S. Route 1 South. After proceeding on Route 1 approximately one mile, take a right-hand exit onto Route 193 West. Go two traffic lights to Stadium Drive. Make a left onto Stadium Drive. Continue on Stadium Drive, bearing right at the traffic circle.The Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is on the left just beyond Byrd Stadium.
FROM BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL/THURGOOD MARSHALL AIRPORT:
Take 195 West to I-95 South.Take I-95 South to the Capital Beltway, exit 27, and immediately follow signs to exit 25B-College Park/U.S. Route 1 South. Take I-395 North until it terminates at New York Ave. Make a right onto New York Ave., and exit at Maryland Route 295 North (Baltimore/Washington Parkway). Exit at Maryland Route 193 West (Greenbelt Road) and follow straight for three miles to Stadium Drive. Make a left onto Stadium Drive.Continue on Stadium Drive, bearing right at the traffic circle.The Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is on the left just beyond Byrd Stadium.
FROM WASHINGTON/RICHMOND AND POINTS SOUTH:
Take I-95 North to I-395 North. Take the Pennsylvania Ave exit and make a slight left onto DC Highway 295. Drive three and a half miles and take the exit towards US-50/New York Ave. Keep left at the fork to merge onto MD-201 North. Drive for four and a half miles and turn left at Paint Branch Parkway. Drive about two miles and continue on Campus Drive to enter the university campus. Turn right onto Paint Branch Drive and then turn left onto Stadium Drive. Continue on Stadium Drive past Byrd Stadium, taking the second exit through the traffic circle. The Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center is on the left just beyond Byrd Stadium.
FROM DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND POINTS WEST:
Take the Dulles Toll Road to I-495 North. Take I-495 North (Washington Beltway) for approximately 25 minutes to exit 25B. After proceeding on Route 1 approximately two miles, take a right-hand exit onto Route 193 West. Go two traffic lights to Stadium Drive. Make a left onto Stadium Drive. Continue on Stadium Drive, bearing right at the traffic circle. The Samuel Riggs IVAlumni Center is on the left just beyond Byrd Stadium.

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 6 (Pennsylvania Turnpike exit). Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 20 (Mid-County Interchange). Take the second exit ramp (I-476 South/Chester). Take I-476 South to Exit 13 (US 30 - St. Davids/Villanova). Proceed east on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for 3/4 mile and at the sixth traffic light turn right onto Ithan Avenue and into the main parking lot.
FROM THE WEST:
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Take I-76 (Schuykill Expressway) to Exit 331A (I-476 South/Chester). Take I-476 South to Exit 13 (US 30 - St. Davids/Villanova). Go right/east on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for 3/4 mile and at the sixth traffic light turn right onto Ithan Avenue and into the main parking lot.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Take I-95 North to Exit 7 (I-476 North-Plymouth Meeting). Take I-476 North to Exit 13 (US 30 - St. Davids/Villanova). Go right/east on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for 3/4 mile and at the fifth traffic light turn right onto Ithan Avenue and into the main parking lot.

If coming via Rt. 30 East (having exited I-476), turn left onto Rt. 320 North, Spring Mill Road, at gas station. If coming via Rt. 30 West, turn right onto Rt. 320 North, Spring Mill Road, at gas station. Once on Rt. 320 North, proceed about 0.20 mile, cross over railroad bridge, and take the first right turn to West Campus. Garey Hall and the Spring Mill Parking Garage will be in front of you. Turn right to enter the garage.

FROM UPPER NEW YORK STATE AND UPPER WESTCHESTER COUNTY (I-287)
New York State Thruway to Cross Westchester Expressway (Interstate 287) East. Take East Exit 9 South to the Hutchinson River Parkway. Hutchinson River Parkway South to Exit 18E, Mill Road. Right on Mill Road to light, then right on North Avenue. Follow North Avenue 2 miles to entrance of College on your left.
FROM NEW ENGLAND AND UPPER WESTCHESTER COUNTY (I-95)
Interstate 95 (Connecticut Turnpike, New England Thruway) to Cross Westchester Expressway (Interstate 287). Take Exit 9 south to the Hutchinson River Parkway. Hutchinson River Parkway South to Exit 18E, Mill Road. Right on Mill Road to light, then right on North Avenue. Follow North Avenue 2 miles to entrance of College on your left.
Alternate Route: Interstate 95 South to Exit 16. Follow signs to North Avenue. Right onto North Avenue, proceed 1 mile to entrance of the College on your right.
FROM MIDTOWN MANHATTAN FDR DRIVE
(East River) Take the FDR to the bridge at Willis Avenue. Bridge connects to the major Deegan Expressway North. Stay left after crossing the bridge. Follow to Cross County Parkway East. Proceed east to Exit 10, New Rochelle Road, Eastchester. Turn right and proceed to fourth traffic light. Turn left on Eastchester Road to the end, then right on North Avenue to second traffic light and left onto campus.
FROM MIDTOWN MANHATTAN - WEST SIDE
Take the West Side Highway to the Henry Hudson Parkway North to the Cross County Parkway East. Proceed east to Exit 10, New Rochelle Road, Eastchester. Turn right and proceed to fourth traffic light. Turn left on Eastchester Road to end, then right on North Avenue. At second traffic light make left onto campus.
Alternate Route F.D.R. to Bruckner Expressway to Hutchinson River Parkway. North to Exit 14, Pelhamdale Avenue, New Rochelle Road, New Rochelle. Turn right at light on New Rochelle Road, left on Eastchester Road to North Avenue, right on North Avenue to second traffic light, then left onto campus.
FROM THE BRONX
Interstate 87 (Major Deegan Expressway) North to the Cross County Parkway East. Proceed east to Exit 10, New Rochelle Road, Eastchester. Turn right and proceed to fourth traffic light. Turn left on Eastchester Road to the end, then right on North Avenue to second traffic light and left onto campus.
FROM LONG ISLAND
Whitestone Bridge. Follow signs to Hutchinson River Parkway. Proceed north to Exit 14, Pelhamdale Avenue, New Rochelle. Turn right at light on New Rochelle Road, left on Eastchester Road to North Avenue, right on North Avenue to second traffic light, then left onto campus.
FROM NEW JERSEY, THE WEST AND THE SOUTH
Holland Tunnel, Lincoln Tunnel, or George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway. North to Cross County Parkway East. Proceed east to Exit 10, New Rochelle Road, Eastchester. Turn right and proceed to fourth traffic light. Turn left on Eastchester Road to the end, then right on North Avenue to second traffic light and left onto campus.
