The Institute is held at Wellfleet Preservation Hall in the town of Wellfleet, MA which is a short drive from the adjoining towns of Truro and Eastham, not far from Provincetown and Orleans, and within reach of Chatham and Brewster. This section of Cape Cod contains more unspoiled wilderness and less commercial development than other parts of the Cape, because it is regulated by the National Park Service. Large luxury hotels may be farther afield, but Atlantic surf, calm Bay waters and freshwater ponds are all within a few minutes' drive.
