SLP participants will be able to:

  • Identify ways to build a strength-based approach to teaching and intervention (2)
  • Illustrate strategies to promote character, virtues, and honesty in schools (3)
  • List the benefits of focusing on the talents, intelligence, and abilities of neurodiversity (4)
  • Develop strategies for cultivating compassion, gratitude, and awe to boost student resilience (5)
  • Explain the power of hope in thriving and creating hopeful schools and leaders (6)
  • Describe ways to promote intellectual virtues, learner ownership, and self-direction (7)
  • List examples for fostering reading, agency, and autonomy in a dependent world (8)
  • Identify way to liberate the brain's hidden assents, talents, and potential (9)
  • Summarize the challenges of academic integrity, cheating, and AI (10)

To achieve satisfactory completion of this course and be eligible for ASHA CEUs, participants must actively engage in all course material for the sessions attends and must complete the learning outcomes evaluation form for each session attended.
