Take this special opportunity, for Learning ghj_amp the Brain participants only, to tour the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where you will see an fMRI brain scan in action. Find out about the Center and what is being learned from brain scans. One volunteer from each tour group will be selected for the live scan of his/her own working brain, to be viewed by the group.

To register, please call 781-449-4010 ext. 101 or 102 or register online. The full fee must be paid in advance by check or credit card. We regret that purchase orders cannot be accepted for this tour. You will be asked to sign a health consent form for the Athinoula A. Martinos Center.
Volunteer for the Brain Scan:
If you would like to volunteer for the brain scan, please indicate your interest when you call to register. You will be sent a questionnaire by the Athinoula A. Martinos Center, which will include personal questions about your health. The Athinoula A. Martinos Center will be responsible for selecting the volunteer for the actual brain scan from each tour group. If you are selected, you will be asked to sign consent forms.
Location:
The Martinos Imaging Center is located on the MIT campus. Transportation is not provided but the lab is easily accessible by public transport from the Westin Hotel. Directions will be provided to you in advance of the tour. Note: The lab is approximately 30 minutes from the Westin via public transport.
